E: Plans For Revenge has been making music from out of San Jose, California for an admirable amount of years now... where do you feel you are currently situated as a band?
Aaron: I feel that right now as a band, we are certain that we are all on the same page. We just need time to organize our lives. We are definitely continuing with plans.
E: So is any assumption that the band has broken up dead wrong?
Aaron: Yeah, it is.
E: Is it difficult to take a break from making music when it's something you've been doing for so long now?
Aaron: Yeah, it really sucks. I love playing drums and playing music, and it sucks not having a place to play drums. But in my mind I'm still musically thinking. I still think about drum parts for songs, and I usually get a lot of ideas even when I don't play my drums. It's interesting. Most of the band is on the same page that I am.
E: How much time has been spent on the road touring since the band began?
Aaron: A week and a half, and then random trips out of town like [Sacramento] and Santa Barbara.
E: How close has the band gotten over the time you've been playing?
Aaron: *Laughs* Oh, man. Very very very very close... a little too close. We are way too open with our bodies when we're together. I'll leave it at that.
E: Has the group ever been geared toward fitting into any particular scene--like the hardcore scene or underground metal?
Aaron: Well, we already have fans from both, and we seem to balance out pretty well for both "scenes."
E: Would you say you're a band with an exceptionally strong local fanbase?
Aaron: Yeah, I believe we do have a strong fanbase, here and outside of California. We have gone so far as to have sent CDs to Europe and Japan, and gotten a good response.
E: Do you anticipate just as strong a support when the band comes back from hiatus?
Aaron: I hope so. Plus, with our return we will have a new CD, and that's what a lot of fans have been anticipating.
E: How long has this CD been in production, writing-wise?
Aaron: Um... it took about one year. But we made a lot of changes to all the songs before it was released, which made them sound better and made them radio-friendly.
E: Will the Plans For Revenge that fans will see and hear in the future be the same as what they'd already experienced? Or will the band have changed into something new?
Aaron: Yes, the band sound will still be the same. We might have some mellow melodic songs, but we will still have the same Plans edge.
E: Well thanks a lot... any last words?
Aaron: No prob, man. Plans has a lot to look forward to so expect to see us back in a few months going in full force. And also look for a few benefit shows we will be doing in the next month or so.
